Light at the End of the Tunnel

Entertainment specialists use previews to generate interest and excitement about a movie or TV show that is soon to be released. They put a “Teaser Trailer” on the front to generate anticipation. Have you ever watched a preview and said, “Wow, that looks really good,” only to find out that the 30-second preview was the best part of the whole movie!?

In the book of Revelation, God’s preview of future events is precisely what He says. He knows the future; He controls the future, and He’s the writer & director. There is no doubt it will all happen according to His script. 

Chapter 13 paints a grim picture: Satan is waging war, his agents are spreading their evil agenda, and those who oppose him face severe persecution. It might seem like Christianity is on the brink of being crushed under this assault. But then, in Chapter 14, John gives us a glimmer of hope. He reminds us that Jesus is coming back! Yes, things are dark right now, but don't give up! Don’t give in to the pressures of this world system. Keep standing firm against Satan. There is hope. There is victory. Take heart—Satan will not have the final word!
