Are you Sure?
As you study the Bible you gain a whole new perspective. Your worldview challenges dramatically and begin to see things from God’s view. You understand just how temporary things are. You understand that you’re not going to live here forever and what’s happening now really makes a difference in eternity for everyone.
In our study of the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 we gain perspective to the question, “what in the world is going on?”
What in the world is going on?
Jesus transports us into the future and shows us how it all ends. After the world goes through seven years of judgment for their rejection of the Savior, He has promised to return. This is the climax of Scripture!
He is coming back to defeat His enemies, right all the wrongs, and ultimately make all things new.
World history is speeding toward the conclusion that God has ordained. It isn't an end that will come as a result of nuclear war, global warming, or alien invasion; it is the one that comes by the purpose and plan of God. We need to be able to look beyond the commotion of the present world with the realization that we could soon meet Christ face to face very soon!
As you consider the impending judgment of God towards those who do not believe, who are they in your life? How might you communicate both His wrath and mercy as you share the gospel with them?
Press On,
Pastor Brian Richard
